This marks the second consecutive year she has received this prestigious title, having also earned it in 2016. It is even more difficult to be named as a Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ member, as this distinction can only be given to legal professionals under 40-years of age or with less than 10 years of practice experience. By the time the annual selections are completed, no more than 2.5% of attorneys will have this title.

About Super Lawyers® Selection
The selection process Super Lawyers® uses begins with nominations of potential candidates. Legal peers, third parties, and the Super Lawyers® research team can all put an attorney’s name “in the hat,” and those with the most promise are moved onto the next phase, which is independent research. Everything from case results to other honors to pro bono work is considered in this phase. The select few that pass the scrutiny of the research will be evaluated by a blue ribbon panel, where more are deselected. For Attorney Jones to have earned Rising Stars℠ membership two years in a row is quite the accomplishment indeed.
